Los Cabos International Airport (San Jose del Cabo) (SJD)

Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is located outside of San Jose del Cabo. It is about 29 miles from the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort in Cabo San Lucas, and will take approximately 40-55 minutes to travel to the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort (see photo of map above).

Most major airlines serve Los Cabos International Airport including Southwest, United, Delta, American, Frontier, Spirit, Interjet Valaris and Alaska Airlines (Not Jet Blue though, sorry!).

Type in “Cabo” or "SJD" on any airline website listed and the correct airport will come up.

Transportation Options to/from Airport & Resort

You can easily get a shuttle upon your arrival right outside Los Cabos International Airport. There are plenty of very nice shuttle drivers hanging around outside you can purchase shuttle tickets from as long as you have cash, rates are cheaper if you have pesos! Simply walk outside the airport, grab a quick drink from the bar for the ride (that's important! It's the start of your vacation!), approach one of the drivers and let them know what resort you are going to and they will escort you to a shuttle. (Pro tip: Don't get sucked in by the time share people inside the airport, unless you want to view some time shares while you are in Cabo. Simply smile, say "no gracias" and walk all they way out until you hit the bar!) Then at the end of your stay, you can purchase a shuttle ticket back to the airport through the concierge at the resort. If you'd rather pre book your transport, here are a few options.

Inside Los Cabos

Inside Los Cabos has friendly shuttle services at the best rates. They also have  private transport that you can book through their website. We have personally used this service and can attest to their professionalism, cleanliness, and reliability. We have arranged a group discount rate for those choosing this service. Please let them know you are traveling with "The Fu Wedding Party" for the discounted rate (shuttle bus rate of $20 each way per person)

Danny Boy Cabo

Private SUV transport with Danny Boy Cabo transport company. This is our preferred means of transport as the majority of our wedding guests will be booking with Danny Boy. His company provides safe and friendly transport with a 30 minute stop to the local walmart / market for any of your additional needs. Rates are as follows: 1-2 person transfer $70, 3-6 people $80, 8-10 people $110, after 10 people in the same ride costs $15 per person with a 17 people max. Price is in usd, each way.
